An environmentally friendly chalet next to lit prepared skiing tracks in Ylläs area in Finnish Lapland.The area is the best cross-country skiing area in Finland with totally of 330 km prepared tracks. The downhill slopes have the highest height difference in Finland. The Pallas-Yllas national park offers also plenty of other outdoor activities year around. In the winter time it's highly probable to see the northern lights, Aurora Borealis. In summer time you can enjoy the “Midnight sun” and it's almost impossible to stay without seeing reindeers. 

Chalet
Koskikara chalet is made of firm log having the highest grade energy class. The house is ecologically heated with geothermal heat,powered with the "eco-electricity" (wind power). The Koskikara is meticulously built primarily by its owners aiming for at least 200 years life time.

Rooms
Koskikara accommodates up to 12 persons within four bedrooms, an open large lounge, dining and kitchen area with a fire place, large lounge area upstairs,a sauna with a shower room and two toilets. The service building comprises a heated skiservice room and a carport.

Equipment
The chalet has a well equipped kitchen, two drying cabinets, a fire place, baby equipment,outdoor equipment etc. There is also free broadband internet access.
